Helping Native Insect Pollinators in a Residential Landscape

From the food we eat to the flowers that decorate our landscape, pollinators play a crucial role.
Recent scientific data shows that many of our native pollinators are declining. Without these important animals, our communities and dinner tables are bound to look very different.

Pollinators help us. We need to think about how we can help them in return. With the right knowledge, we can make a difference. We will hear about:
· The myriad lifestyles of our native pollinators
· The intimate relationship forged between native bees and native plants over millions of years
· Simple gardening tips to support our native pollinators

Blake Dinius from the Plymouth County Extension is our presenter. He spoke to us via zoom after Covid broke and is an interesting and knowledgeable speaker.
