Learn from our club members various methods of drying/ preserving flowers and other items growing in our gardens, fields, and roadsides. Use your newly gained knowledge to do your own preserving and drying during the spring and summer, and join us in early October to make arrangements using your material. Dried material is ‘in’ as a decorating tool!

Program: TEACUP BOUQUETS are back! Hanover Council on Aging. 11:30-3:00 This was popular with the public and our members the first time, so we are repeating, this time at the Council on Aging. There will be two sessions of one hour each, with signups prior to the program required. Please call the Council on Aging, (781) 924-1913 , to sign up.

Program: Trip to the Mary May Binney Wakefield Arboretum in Milton, MA 10:30 tour of the gardens,
Bring your lunch and beverage to enjoy on the sun and rain protected porch.
This trip is during ‘Dogwood Days’, when Polly Wakefield’s patented dogwood varieties are blooming. There is a rose allee, a kalmia garden, evergreens, and many other beautiful areas. Go to their website for a preview of what we might see!
Thursday, July 21. Program:A trip to Highfield Hall in Falmouth, and our annual picnic Highfield Hall at 10:00 with the picnic to follow. Bring your own lunch, beverage, and chair) at one of our member's lovely summer home in Quisset. We will tour the gardens at Highfield AND the mansion, which is full of art displays. You never know what you might find there!
